The article is devoted to the actual problem of improving the professional training of district police officers to carry out individual preventive work with persons under administrative supervision. The relevance of the topic is due to the significant professional deficit of police of- ficers in the areas of psychology, pedagogy, and communication, the high social significance of effective prevention, and the insufficient development of appropriate pedagogical models. The study identified key deficits in the competence of district police officers (psychological, peda- gogical, social, and communicative), which determine the need for a systematic approach to training. The strategic goal has been determined: the formation of a comprehensive profes- sional competence that integrates legal, socio-psychological, and value-semantic components. The content of the model has been developed, including cognitive, motivational-value, and ac- tivity components, and its procedural and methodological support (stages, forms, and methods of teaching) has been substantiated. The implementation of the developed model will contribute to the transition from a punitive and control-oriented paradigm to a pedagogical support model, which will ultimately increase the effectiveness of preventive work, promote the resocialization of supervised individuals, and strengthen law enforcement.
