В статье рассматривается экспозиция произведений Клода Моне, организованная Музеем искусств Наканосима (Осака, Япония) в рамках программы, приуроченной к 150-летию Первой выставки импрессионистов (1874). Цель исследования – проанализировать, каким образом музейная кураторская практика репрезентирует творчество Моне в контексте диалога между западным импрессионизмом и японским художественным наследием. Методологически работа опирается на интертекстуальный анализ экспозиционных и исследовательских материалов музея, а также на критическое осмысление публикаций по теме японизма в европейской культуре. В центре внимания – феномен серийности в живописи Моне и его интерпретация с точки зрения транскультурного обмена. Автор аргументирует, что творчество Моне не только испытало влияние японской гравюры, но и стало частью более широкого культурного процесса взаимовлияния, в рамках которого западные художники активно переосмысливали визуальные и философские принципы японского искусства. Статья вносит вклад в изучение художественного диалога между Востоком и Западом и подчеркивает роль музейных институций как посредников в интеркультурной интерпретации искусства.
