To achieve this goal, a survey of geography teachers of general education institutions of the Jewish Autonomous Region was conducted and the results were analysed. On this basis, a request from the pedagogical community was formulated and a trajectory for the development of teaching aids to support the regional part of the geography course in general education institutions of the Jewish Autonomous Region was built. The novelty of the study lies in the attempt to systematise the development of teaching and methodological support for the regional part of the geography course in order to ensure the continuity of the regional material in each grade at the level of basic general education on the basis of identifying the real demand from the teaching community of the Jewish Autonomous Region. The results of the study will be used in the development of educational and methodological support of the regional part of the course of geography with the subsequent introduction of educational and methodological products in the educational process of educational institutions of the Jewish Autonomous Region, which, in turn, will contribute to the comprehensive implementation of the educational potential of geography as a subject.
